We have been a supporter of the work being done by Long Miles Coffee in Burundi since our beginning back in 2014. We are so excited to have such a beautiful coffee, grown at high elevation, that tastes magical and is helping impact the coffee growing community. It is with honor that we present out "Burundi Process Series." Coffee flavor is influenced by so many factors, from coffee variety, elevation, soil content, and processing method used after the coffee has been harvested. We have gotten 2 coffees from the exact same Gishubi Hill in Burundi, Africa. One Fully Washed (all coffee cherry and pulp removed). One Natural (some of the coffee parchment left off and minimal fermentation allowed to occur). Taking care to roast the coffees with the exact same profile, this will allow the processing method to stand out and present unique flavorings as they are enjoyed in your cup. This "Burundi Process Series" is sure to be a fan favorite for any coffee fans looking to dive into something unique.

We are proud to roast this coffee coming from the Long Miles Coffee Project in Burundi, Africa. This coffee helps support and improve the local community through paying above average coffee premiums, organic fertilizers being used, pruning of coffee trees, and the planting of several thousand new coffee trees. All of these things help to make coffee farming a sustainable venture for the next generation of workers in Burundi. This 100% Bourbon variety coffee is farmed at 1940m altitude and has a bright fruity flavor with a long creamy finish.
Washed Process: Bright lemon aroma, asian pear, plum, caramel & red berry flavors. Creamy body.
Natural Process: Honeydew Melon and Cantaloupe flavors are very present throughout the aroma, and a long smooth flavor
