Hygge Coffee Company prides itself in promoting a culture that improves the world around us and for generations to come. We place this at the forefront of our business by focusing on sourcing our green coffee beans from growers using regenerative agricultural methods, and utilizing sustainable coffee packaging products. Â
Sustainable Coffee Sourcing
Businesses are notorious for using marketing buzzwords to try and increase the perceived value of their products. Al

though it had been around much earlier, the organic agriculture movement started to gather momentum in the early 1900s. Since then, the prevalence of "organic" products has exploded.
The problem?
What most people perceive "organic" to mean is no longer the reality.
We don't believe in hyperbole. We believe in results.
That is why we have made it our mission to promote and offer "Regenerative Coffee".
Â
What is Regenerative Coffee?
From start to finish, we are focused on practicing and promoting regenerative agricultural practices.
The coffee growers that we partner with around the world are focused on implementing agricultural practices that promote biodiversity, water health, soil health, and carbon sequestration.Â
In addition, we work to ensure that fair wages are paid to the farm and workers, that the green coffee beans we source are of premium quality (above 80 on the SCAA grading scale), and the communities are improved regularly.
We look forward to sharing lots of great information relating to the coffee farms that our green beans come from and their communities. Check out the about us section of the website, or our coffee blog, for the latest information and stories about our origin countries.
Sustainable Coffee Packaging
For local distribution and more immediate use of our coffee beans, we use 100% recycled bags that are additionally compostable. All you need to do is remove the tin tie at the top, and drop it at your local compost of choice.
