This Costa Rican single origin coffee comes from the 38 hectare family owned Las Lajas coffee growing farm in the region of Sabanilla, Alajuela, Costa Rica. The region boasts average elevations of 1,300-1,500 meters at the base of the Poas Volcano. Las Lajas was one of the first and remains one of the few Certified Organic coffee farms in Costa Rica. Their farm is distinct with most coffee being shade grown, and unique coffee drying and processing methods that have been labeled "honey processes" which improve coffee flavor and profiles.
