Santo Domingo is produced by small farms located in the Antigua valley of Sacatepequez, Guatemala. Growing coffee with traditional methods on the slopes of the three volcanoes ringing the city of Antigua, these farms benefit from young soils and uniform rainy seasons to produce a consistently sweet and remarkable coffee. Since its original settlement by the Kakchiquel Maya, this valley has served as a central hub for agriculture in Guatemala and Santo Domingo coffee continues to show its lasting quality in the cup.
